Access and Selection
Holders of a degree in Management, Economics or other degree deemed appropriate to the frequency of the Master in Economics and Management (MCEE) by the Scientific Council will be considered. Candidates with an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognized by the Scientific Council as evidence of ability to perform the master will also be considered.
Candidates will be selected by the master’s scientific committee based on the successive application of the following criteria:
a) Classification of the academic degree;
b) Academic, scientific or professional curriculum;
c) Results of a previous interview, if deemed necessary by the scientific committee.
The distribution of candidates by the different areas of specialization takes place in the order specified on the list and ranking of preferences for each area of expertise, manifested in the application form.

Application Rules:
Applicants should submit to the Secretariat of the Department of Economics and Management, University of the Azores:
a) Application form, duly completed;
b) Data release autorization form, duly completed;
c) Proof of academic qualifications with the final average;
d) Curriculum vitae with details of information to enable an assessment of merit or preference;
e) Photocopy of the Identity Card;
f) Photocopy of Contributive Card; and
g) Photo (passport).

1st Year (teaching load): €3,000
2nd Year (dissertation): € 1,000
